Our intrepid climate tech start-up is set to join the Swiss French hydropower ecosystem at the 3rd Edition of the Smart Water Conference in Le Châble.
On the 1st of December, industry leaders, innovators, specialists and academics will rendezvous at Espace Saint-Marc to exchange ideas around the theme of water and the digital aspects that revolve around it. Organized by the BlueArk Entremont Innovation Cluster, and with the support of Crealp, the University of Lausanne, Altis and The Ark Foundation, the morning will offer a scientific colloquium and encourages meaningful discussions surrounding the importance of managing and using water wisely, whilst keeping a close eye on climate change and its consequences.

Then in the afternoon at 2:50pm, Ion will host a thematic workshop with guest speaker Nicolas Adam (Civil Engineer, Alpiq), to unveil some highlights from their recent collaborative experience through the Swiss Industry & Science Consortium. Specifically, Ion and Nicolas will present key takeaways based on how near real-time satellite data integration into hydrological forecasting models can result in long-term renewable energy trading optimization by up to 50%.
